Your Elected Officials Are Trying to Work for You – Reach Out!
Current NYS legislation could impact YOUR WALLET significantly. NYS Assembly bill A.8278 (Kellner) and Senate bill S.5000 (Duane) seek to prohibit insurance carriers from charging steep co-pays under what is known as “Tier 4.” Using Tier 4, insurance carriers will push between 20% and 35% of your Clotting Factor bill or bills for other prescriptions onto YOU. Ask your representatives if they support these bills - tell them that Tier 4 is bad medicine! Urge them to PASS A.8278 and S.5000.
