Finger Lakes Triathlon Train For Treatment "Tri-Buddy" Program

WHAT IS THE "TRI-BUDDY" PROGRAM? Within our Train For Treatment Program, we have created a wonderful way to make the fundraising more meaningful via our "Tri-Buddy" program. This program enables you to raise money for the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center on behalf of one of the child patients that we treat. In this option, we will assign you one of our child patients to you (your "tri-buddy") and send you their picture and profile on how they have overcome their bleeding disorder with the help of the Center. You can then include this picture and profile along with your own personal message on your fundraising page. You will also have the opportunity to meet your "tri-buddy" sometime this summer if you want and if possible they will be there at the triathlon cheering you on. It is a very rewarding program.
HOW DO I SIGN UP? The only thing that you need to do is email Tom Wilmarth at Thomas.wilmarth@rochestergeneral.org indicating that you would like to have a "Tri-Buddy" for your fundraising page. You will then receive an email back with the child’s profile along with a picture file that you can then add to your page.
On behalf of all of the "Tri-Buddies" we would like to thank you so much for being part of this program!!!
