Don't run out of factor.

 -- TAPA --

Think Ahead, Plan Ahead

Order factor before you run out.  Don't get caught without factor at home.

Be safe - TAPA.

Planning a trip?  Contact the Center to make arrangements - get a travel letter, the locations of other hemophilia centers and factor to bring with you.

TAPA.    Be Safe.

Think Ahead, Plan Ahead.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Founded in 1959 by Mary M. Gooley on behalf of the Rochester Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center (Center) serves people affected by bleeding disorders and other inherited medical conditions. The Center is an independent not-for-profit organization governed by a community board of directors.  Since its founding, it has operated within or adjacent to Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY.

The Center boasts a robust staff of hematologists and other professionals.  We provide means to improve the lives of people affected by bleeding disorders and iron overload, including education, treatment, advocacy, research and supportive programs. We strive towards a world in which independence and wellness flourish among people affected by bleeding disorders and iron overload.
