We treat people. While our history at the Center is rooted in the expert care of people affected by hemophilia, over the years the Center has broadened its services to provide treatment, education, advocacy, research and supportive programs to people affected by other bleeding disorders, by iron overload and by other inherited disorders. The common threads these disorders share include that they require hematologic management, that they result from a focused defect, and that they are inherited. Dedication to the health care needs of the patients and to support of patients’ families has been a hallmark of the Center.
